Our Children’s Home in Plymouth is looking for a Residential Support Worker to join their team and be part of something special.

With help from your manager and a team of passionate Support Workers you will be working alongside children and young people in residential settings who need a kind, caring and fun place to live despite the challenges they may bring.

Our young people are between 8-18 years old who display emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is why we are looking for motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations.

When you join us you will be working to a rota working 39 hours per week which will be completed as shifts including long days and sleep-ins (optional)

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications and experience are always welcome but aren’t necessary to join us as a Residential Support Worker. If you are an active individual with a desire to make a difference this could be ideal.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£440 to £465 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• To hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
• Previous experience working with children or young people
