The School and Role
This EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school based in Gateshead, is looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of SEND to work in either Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Teacher of SEND will be working on a small class size basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties, Complex Medical Needs and Speech and Language Difficulties. This full time Teacher of SEND role is long term from May, ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.
The school is a nurturing, educational and therapeutic community for pupils and their families and pride themselves on having a positive and welcoming atmosphere. They work together to provide a stimulating environment to ensure the pupils achieve to the best of their ability.
