About the school
The school is part of a MAT that consists of several SEND schools and also provides some specialist provision within mainstream education. The school is an alternative provision that provides education for boys aged 8 – 14 who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream schools.
The school believes that with the right support for their Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health (SEMH) needs, their children and young people can learn to change their behaviour, to re-engage positively with learning, and prepare for life as a successful citizen.
Through a trauma informed approach, they aim to provide a caring, supporting, and challenging learning environment in which students will overcome their barriers to learning and successfully reintegrate into their local mainstream school or another appropriate education provider.
