Have you taught learners with special needs (SEN)/ SEMH before?
Sennen Education are seeking a SEND Teacher to start in September at a primary school in the Oldham area. You will be teaching children with varied SEND who are in Early Years and KS1. The role is initially for two terms starting in September.
Excellent pay up to �240/day depending on experience/ pay scale.
Full time & long term placement.
Hours are 8:30am - 4pm each day.
You will be teaching children who are grouped by needs & levels rather than strictly by age therefore you will need to be able to teach across a range of subjects & activities using a range of learning methods & strategies. The school is rated Good in all areas by Ofsted. They have excellent facilities and strong links with other schools, outside agencies and parents. Pupils may have an EHCP for SEND, therefore the new teacher will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to differentiate their schemes of work and lesson plans.
