SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary/Permanent)

£415 - £450 per week (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2024 - July 2025 

The School and Role

This ‘Good’ two-form entry primary school, which is based in Ashington, is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a girl with ASC, starting in September 2024. 

Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching. Children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have:


  • Experience of working with primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
