A dynamic and inclusive secondary school located in the heart of Stockport are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2024. This role involves working 29.25 hours per week during term time (Monday to Friday) providing 1-2-1 support to pupils with learning difficulities. Your primary responsibilies will include:

• Assisting pupils with their daily learning tasks
• Tailoring support to meet individual learning needs
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support pupil development

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a kind, patient, and empathetic manner
• Possess experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
• Have experience supporting students with SEND
• Be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential
• Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
