£417 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

I am working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school based near the Greasby area of Wirral, who are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a child in year 2.  The role will be full-time and will start in September 2024.  The school are looking for a strong teaching assistant with experience of working within a SEND environment and additional training in ASC will be desirable.
You will be working in a school who were praised in their most recent Ofsted for fostering an inclusive environment and who provide exceptional support and development opportunities for their staff.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
