£416.65 - £430 per week

The School and Role

This is for a specialised school in Retford, this school provides comprehensive education and support for children of ages 4-19, ensuring each student receives the care and guidance they need at every stage of their development.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join our SEND school in Retford, working with students aged 4-16. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to support and inspire the students, helping them in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

 The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant involves working with Children with a variety of Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum conditions and Speech and Language difficulties. This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Team Teacher.  You will have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working children and young people

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress pupils with SEND

-          An ability to work as part of a team
