SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 3 to 19 who have a variety of special educational needs. You will be supporting students with hearing impairments (HI), visual impairments (VI), specific learning difficulties (SpLD), and other complex difficulties. This role requires someone who can provide tailored support to help students access the curriculum and thrive both academically and personally.

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children and young people aged 3 to 19 in an educational setting


• Experience supporting students with a range of needs, including hearing impairments, visual impairments, specific learning difficulties, and other disabilities


• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs


• A commitment to inclusive education and helping students achieve their potential
