Senior 3D Conceptual designer - Architectural spaces

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior 3D Conceptual Designer with a strong background in retail and residential spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative vision and practical expertise, taking projects from concept to delivery. Your primary responsibilities will involve conceptualising and developing creative solutions for a variety of briefs, focusing on creating engaging and functional spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Exploration & Visual Narratives: Develop and present strong concept explorations and visual narratives that effectively communicate design ideas.
• 3D Visualisations: Produce high-quality 3D visualisations using Cinema 4D, SketchUp, VRay, and other relevant software.
• Design Software Proficiency: Utilise VectorWorks, AutoCAD, Layout, and other tools to create detailed and accurate design plans.
• Research & Benchmarking: Conduct thorough research and benchmarking to inform design decisions, ensuring alignment with current trends and standards.
• Brand Positioning & Strategy: Collaborate on brand positioning and strategy to create cohesive and impactful design solutions.
• Space Planning & Layout Design: Plan and design layouts for retail and residential spaces, considering product placement, community needs, and spatial dynamics.
• Material & Architectural Considerations: consider appropriate materials and architectural elements to enhance the overall design and functionality of spaces.
• Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with interior and industrial product designers to ensure a unified vision and strategy across all projects.
• Implementation: Oversee the practical aspects of design implementation, ensuring seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in spatial, experiential, and interior design, particularly in commercial and retail environments.
• Proficiency in 3D visualisation and rendering software such as Cinema 4D, SketchUp, VRay, VectorWorks, AutoCAD, and Layout.
• Strong skills in space planning, layout design, and material selection.
• Ability to create detailed spatial visuals using both 2D and 3D software.
• Excellent research, benchmarking, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of brand positioning and strategy.
• Exceptional creativity with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
• Proven track record of taking projects from concept to successful delivery.
