World Services partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, we work on the critical issues of our time, including national security, social justice and conflict prevention. This role will involve the following responsibilities: Managing projects, including timing plans, team coordination, and client liaison/engagement. Forging relationships at the most senior levels internally and with the client to ensure we can create the best, most impactful work possible Take the lead on critical workstreams to support the project s delivery and oversee other workstreams led by more junior members of the team. Manage project finance, including budget sheets and estimates. Work hand in glove with specialist members of the team, including Insights, Strategy, Design, Production, and Dissemination. Manage and mentor more junior members of the account handling and wider US team, taking an active interest in furthering their development. Take an interest in the world around us geopolitics, social impact issues, culture, etc. What we are looking for: Proven commercial communications expertise in a similar working environment and role, with the ability to work independently. Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish or Arabic language skills desirable. Good and practical understanding of commercial operations with a sense of responsibility towards the organization s reputation. Proficient in all components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, word-processing, power point and spreadsheets). Excellent communication skills to enable him/her to engage with senior stakeholders and to understand client requirements.
