Job Title: Senior Account ManagerSalary: £60-70k basic, +25k ote (uncapped)Location: Central London (hybrid - Monday & Friday WFH)Sector: FintechThe Opportunity:Our scale-up sized client have outperformed their revenue targets for the last five years and are midway through an investment plan focusing heavily on their sales team. As a result, they are looking to scale their Account Management team and need an experienced Senior Account Manager to look after a portfolio of their key clients. They exist to provide data and intelligence that is massively beneficial for their clients who require insight into different complex financial markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a winning team in a professional environment.The role and responsibilities:Full Account Management role - you will be given a multi million pound portfolio of key accounts once onboarded.Looking for someone with a 'hunter' mentality, although this role is only working with existing accounts, growth of these accounts will be a big focus.Proactively uncovering opportunities in existing accounts through up sell, cross-sell and expansion activities qualified via regular customer reviews and prospecting whilst also negotiating and closing them.Excel with regards to customer retention, focusing on constant improvement of customer experience through proactive engagement with customers via online events and facilitating customer communities of practice.Benefits:Clear progression plan to VP level.Realistic OTE - 75% of team overachieving on target.Travel opportunities to global offices.Quarterly lunch clubs and team incentives.Regular team socials and fun culture.Winners Table to Michelin-Star restaurants.All tech equipment provided.All the standard benefits you'd expect from a good employer, including holiday package, health benefits etc.The person:Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within a SaaS or financial services focused business (2-3 years+).Strong understanding of Account Management best practices, upsell strategies, and sales processes.Hunter & self-starter mentality - not afraid to pick up the phone.Data-driven mind set with the ability to analyse and interpret metrics.Proficiency in CRM software(e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding upsell/cross sell targets.
