StaffCo Direct are currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager, based in Oldbury in the West Midlands, who will be responsible for effectively managing our Key Accounts.

The purpose of the Senior Account Manager role is to grow one or more Key Clients accounts efficiently. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities. Conduct regular business reviews with Key Clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in account management working in a fast paced reactive environment and understand key duties of the role including;


  • Accountability for the performance of the Account
  • Relationship management
  • Understanding client requirements
  • Account growth
  • Problem solving
  • Forcasting and KPI reporting, analysis and planning
  • To operate margin/fees at agreed budget and inline with authorisation limits

This role requires travel to client sites therefore a full UK licence is necessary for the role.

Requirements and competancies for the role include;


  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Leads the account, takes the initiative by making proposals and taking action where appropriate without waiting for instruction or direction. .
  • Is seen to be approachable, receptive and helpful when dealing with people and issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • To assist in improving standards, raising expectations across the business.
  • Financial forecasting and reporting. 
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to lead by example.
  • Able to act quickly and decisively. 
  • Has the ability to apply corrective action to all areas of failure. 
  • Ability to work effectively and prioritise work to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong, influential, assertive, personable manager with a detailed understanding of the recruitment process. 
  • Able to deliver results despite obstacles by taking personal responsibility for the outcome.
  • Able to maintain harmonious relationships with customers even during conflict.
  • An efficient team player who leads by example demonstrating proactivity in all areas of work.
