About the Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant/ Manager to join their team who will be offered a variety of work.
About the Responsibilities:
This role will involve:
Experience at Manager/ Senior level.
Audit Experience.
Managing a team of 6 staff members.
Effectively managing practice client portfolio including everything from staff planning, management of WIP and billing.
Building and further developing client relationships with existing and new clients.
Displaying a strong commercial awareness in fee development.
Displaying pro-active awareness of current relevant legislation, compliance standards
Raising high quality business correspondence.
Acting as the main point of contact for compliance queries from clients within portfolio.
Quoting and estimating fees within your level of authority.
Meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work and putting together associated documents.
Business development
attending new client meetings and networking events.
Effectively delegating work to, and mentoring, the team.
Providing feedback to junior and senior team members about quality of work/performance.
Managing the team including monitoring work in progress and work standards.
About the Applicant:
You will have:
Confident, articulate and an effective communicator at all levels
Well-presented and professional
Patience in training colleagues
ACA/ACCA Fully Qualified with 3+ years post qualification experience
Up to date knowledge of corporate and personal taxes
Strong time management skills
Previous management experience
Commercial and proactive approach to client development
