p strong Your new company /strong br br Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates. br I am partnering with an international company based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. br strong Your new role /strong br As a Senior Accountant, you will manage and control all aspects of cost accounting and inventory valuation for the site and will collaborate closely with the SSC and the FP&A teams. Your duties will include : /p ul li Liaising and collaborating with the Shared Service Team to achieve a timely month-end close. /li li Supporting the FP&A Team and Site Manager with any forecasting, budgeting and variance reporting as required. /li li Providing annual audit support to the Shared Service Team. /li li Responsible for all aspects of Inventory Valuation. /li li Managing and maintaining the site cost model, providing ad hoc costings as required and supporting the annual stock take process. /li li Fixed asset recording and reporting. /li li UK VAT reporting. /li li Managing and updating the main financial reports including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows in accordance with GAAP. /li li Executing month-end closing and analysis of financial reports including variance reporting, reconciliations, documentation, and explanations as needed. /li li Provide leadership and direction from an accounting and financial perspective to support a successful ERP implementation. /li li Provide support to AP, AR, cost accounting, and payroll functions. /li /ul p br strong What you'll need to succeed /strong /p ul li You will ideally be CIMA or ACCA qualified, or have relevant experience in a similar role. /li li Proven understanding of general accounting systems. /li li Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal & written). /li li Proficient in Microsoft Office with expert level skills in Excel. /li li Demonstrated experience working with an ERP/financial reporting system. /li li Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. /li /ul p strong What you'll get in return /strong br You will get a salary of £45,000- £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications, 25 days annual leave +bank holidays, hybrid working, flexible hours, private medical, life assurance, enhanced pension scheme, free on-site parking. br strong What you need to do now /strong br br br If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now. br If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. br /p p Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
