Ruby Group are working with a global company located in the heart of London s west end. With turnover in excess of £650 million. Market leaders in their space they have seen consistent levels of growth a trend that is set to continue. This is a Newley created role supporting the group financial controller and CFO. Your responsibilities will be to take over the reporting and forecasting for the technology transformation project and cashflow forecasting and gain familiarity with the reporting processes. Later in the year the finance function will be restructured, A new system is being implemented once the finance system has migrated the role will cover monthly reporting of the two legal entities for the region and supervision of the finance team covering AP, AR , bank etc. The incumbent will work within a team where their responsibilities will include the following: Assistance with structured group month-end close, to act as primary support for the accounting function of certain subsidiaries. Involvement in the budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries/functions. Preparation of client assistant package for auditors, Liaison with auditors. Producing a full set of monthly management accounts incorporating profit and loss variances and commentaries. Assisting the Group Finance Systems team with the implementation, mapping and Migration of a new accounting systems. Line and performance management responsibility of the operational finance team, AP, AR and Credit Control. whom assists in the delivery of the Group Finance reporting requirements and supervises the head office accounting function. Managing the Group Finance reporting requirements taking responsibility for the effective and timely delivery of consolidated financial and management reports, interim statements and financials for the annual Report and Accounts. This includes monthly cash flow forecasts and bi-annual debt covenant calculations. You will also Work closely with the CEO and CFO. The ideal applicant will have a professional qualification in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA and have at least a year post qualification experience. A strong knowledge of US/UK GAAP and IFRS is essential. Candidates that have exposure working within a group environment will have an advantage. You must have excellent communication skills you will be maintaining good working relationships with all divisional finance teams to ensure timely submission of information and adherence to group accounting policies and procedures.
