Senior Accountant
Full time (37.5 hours)
Office based in Wells (hybrid considered)
Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee monthly workflow planning, allocating jobs to the team, ensuring targets are met
Help team to monitor monthly KPIs
Support and train the team as necessary
Completion of client billing
Liaising with clients in relation to scope of work changes and effect on fees
Become main point of contact for clients
Review team members work and give feedback
Work closely with the principle to assist with the delegation of work down through the team
Work with the principle to grow the client base within advisory services, these include:
Management accounts
Cashflow forecasting
Budgets
Financial management
Business development

To Be Our Clients Senior Accountant You Will Likely:
Can-do attitude - someone who is willing to keep themselves up to date, not only with legislation but also with technological advances (AI)
Able to produce accounts for limited companies and charities may also be required to produce accounts for partnerships or sole traders
Audit knowledge beneficial but not essential
Able to produce personal and corporate tax returns
Experience of dealing with clients in relation to periodic management information
Comprehensive knowledge of IT software (i.e. MS Office, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Dext etc.)
General bookkeeping, payroll and VAT knowledge desired to advance their advisory service offering
ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience
Must have at least 3 years experience working within a UK Accountancy Practice environment
