Location: North Yorkshire
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per Week: 37.5
Working Days & Times: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary Range: £40,000 - £45,000

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in North Yorkshire. This role is critical in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

This opportunity is ideal for an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified professional (or someone actively pursuing these qualifications) who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.

* Support cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

* Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax requirements.

* Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.

* Collaborate with senior management to improve financial processes and systems.

* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

* Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.

* Oversee and execute the monthly payroll process.
