Senior Accountant

Hi All, I'm currently recruiting for a senior accountant at a Fire and Rescue service in the North West region. The candidate HAS to have previous experience within a fire and rescue service and be ACCA qualified.

• Support the Finance Manager to develop, review and monitor the authority's Medium Term Finance Plan and annual Revenue and Capital budgets.
• Support budget holders in preparing their budget plans and in year revenue and capital budget monitoring.
• Supporting and challenging budget holders and Senior Management Teams across the authority, including providing a responsive and flexible service that is business focused and supports the authorities priorities.
• Liaising with both Internal and External Audit officers as required
