Senior Accountant

This fantastic opportunity is for a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant who wishes to take their career to the next level.� The successful candidate will work closely with directors to help manage the increasing workflow resulting from changes to the accountancy and tax sector, especially within Agriculture. The role offers an exiting opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of draft Financial Statements for all business types ready for Partner Review


• Mentor, support, and oversee junior accounting staff to encourage professional growth


• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships


• Provide management information to assist in client decisions and formulate tax strategies


• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends, including Making Tax Digital


• The role is a great opportunity to develop managerial qualities and a client portfolio in a dynamic environment

Qualifications/Skills

• You must be qualified (or nearly qualified) with ACA or ACCA �


• Proven experience in Private Practice


• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Xero


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite


• Supervisory or Managerial experience would be beneficial

• This is a predominantly office-based position, however, a maximum of 1 day per week can be considered for the right candidate
