Senior Accountant

Bennett and Game Recruitment has the pleasure of representing a close-knit Accountancy Practice located in Barnes (SW13) who are seeking an Accounts and Tax Senior to join their expanding accounts team on a full time, permanent basis. The role of the Accounts Senior will be to run a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients. They are offering a competitive salary of up to �55,000, 22 days holiday + bank holidays.

The suitable candidate will be based locally to Barnes (must be within 40 minutes) and have a minimum of 4 years' experience within an accountancy practice.

Accounts and Tax Senior Job Overview

• Running a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients
• Preparation of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements and regularly prepare financial statements in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102.
• Preparation, review & submission of corporation tax returns.
• Advising individuals and companies of their tax liabilities.
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Assisting with HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.
• Identifying tax-planning opportunities within individual and corporate client portfolios.
• Supervising staff, some of which will be qualified and they will be responsible for running a portfolio

Accounts and Tax Senior Job Requirements

• 4+ years' experience working within an accountancy practice
• Good knowledge of corporation tax
• Have a good understanding of all different types of tax
• Proficient in Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
• ACCA, AAT, ACA Qualified/ Part Qualified or QBE
• Live locally to Barnes

Accounts and Tax Senior Salary & Benefits

Salary �45,000 - �55,000

Hours 9am- 5:30pm

Days Monday- Friday

Annual leave 22 days + bank holidays
