Senior Accountant

A growing practice is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Leeds. This client have had a great 2024, and as a result, are looking to add a senior accountant to allow them to continue growing in 2025.

With a highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment. This senior be instrumental in managing client engagements, supporting more junior team members, and contributing to a high performing atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting the senior management team, duties of the Senior Accountant will include the following:

� Oversee an allocation of clients within a varied portfolio

� Preparation of Statutory accounts

� Preparation of Management Accounts

� Corporate and Personal Tax

� Review of accounts prepared by the team

� Training and advice on accounting software

� Assist with staff development and training

Skills and Qualities

� 3 years experience in a practice environment

� ACCA/ ACA Qualified, QBE, Part Qualified
