Senior Accounts Assistant

Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Manufacturing business in Leeds to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their existing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Reporting into the Plant Manager, working in a small but busy accounts team duties will include:

• Control of profit and loss and balance sheet


• Calculate and process month end accounting entries


• Plan and coordinate the financial close process


• Prepare and submit monthly accounts in consolidation tool


• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations


• Preparation of internal audit reports


• Preparation of quarterly vat returns


• Support shared services with accounting queries


• Manage fixed asset process from project tracking to accounting entries


• Support the business through preparation of financial and non financial analysis
