Job Advert: Senior Accounts Assistant

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Salary: �26,000 - �31,000 (depending on experience)

About our Client:

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are a dynamic and successful organisation, committed to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities.
Conducting bank reconciliations.
Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the accounts manager and directors.
Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business.
Providing support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Liaising with clients and resolving any accounting-related queries.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Essential Requirements:

AAT Qualified or equivalent.
Proficiency in using accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.

Technologies:

Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
