Senior Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join a reputable, growing business based in Hedge End, Hampshire who are looking to streamline their transactional procedures. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to step up in a more senior capacity, without the management responsibility. What will the Senior Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Provide efficient accounts administration.
• Provide assistance to the Finance Director to ensure urgent matters are swiftly and effectively dealt with.
• Process receipts and payments, post invoices received to purchase ledger.
•  Support with month end reports & reconciliations.
• Ensure transactions are dealt with efficiently. 
• Weekly payment runs.
• Deal with any payment queries.

Suitable candidate for the Senior Accounts Assistant vacancy:

• Strong working knowledge of transactional finance.
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable speaking to customers over the phone.
• Strong excel skills including advance formulas, v-look ups and pivot tables (or the desire to learn them).
