Role: Senior Airport Planner
Salary/Rate: £ market rates (inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days p/w + site travel
Contract Duration: 6-12 months

A qualified Senior Airport Planner is required by a consultancy working with some of the biggest government, infrastructure, defence, and security projects in the UK.

This Senior Airport Planner role is hybrid based between working up to 3 days per week in a local office (multiple available throughout the UK) and the remainder of the week working remotely or travelling to UK sites as required. Site travel will be expensed.

The Senior Airport Planner role will be a 6-12-month contract, paying market rates inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• A relevant first degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with a postgraduate degree in a transport-related field and professional membership in a relevant body.
• Strong sense of accountability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Passion and enthusiasm for coordinating, supervising, and delivering airport planning and capacity solutions as part of airport masterplans and development projects, covering airfield, apron, terminal, landside, and ancillary facilities.
• Proven experience in developing client relationships and participating in work-winning activities.
• Contribute to airport master planning projects by overseeing studies on airfield layout, passenger terminal, and surface access planning.
• Successfully coordinate and deliver solutions within time and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with teams in the UK and internationally to provide Airport Planning and Design expertise.
• Assist in developing innovative industry tools to maintain a competitive edge.
