An exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Engineer / Application Engineer / Software Engineer to join a leader in high-performance navigation systems, that operate globally. They are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Applications Engineer / Software Engineer who has had experience developing complex solutions for their products and customer requirements.
The Application Engineer / Software Engineer must have expert knowledge and experience with C# and WPF development.
You must be commutable to Bicester.

The Senior Application Engineer / Application Engineer / Software Engineer Position:
Develop application solutions through developing new hardware and software, configuring the company's products, and integrating 3rd party products. Test and maintain hardware and software, including release process, version control, and bug management. Write and maintain documentation for designs to describe functionality, use and reasons for design decisions.
Investigate requests for the development of solutions to meet customer applications, originating from customers or internally from Product Management. Undertake investigative / feasibility work to develop solutions. Plan and cost projects; provide information to Sales for quotation.
Work with software applications that perform various controls/commands on hardware systems.
Develop company products and controls using C# WPF MVVM MVC C/C++ XAML
Technical review for the release of software solutions.
Debugging and troubleshooting issues.
The Senior Application Engineer / Application Engineer / Software Engineer Requirements
Demonstrable experience in C# WPFprogramming
Experience of multi threaded development in MVC/MVVM
Knowledge and understanding of SOLID design principles.
Working and managing multiple projects at one time
Writing technical documentation for technical and non-technical to understand.
Must be commutable to Bicester.
