Senior Application Support Engineer

Location - Hybrid based in Derry Your roleWe are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work as part of a team delivering applications support and development services to our customers either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions. Your role will involve Application and system support and enhancements of critical software applications in an Agile DevOps team.Your experienceDevOps/Support experience in applications.2nd/ 3rd line support, with both customers and VendorsProblem management and investigations, leading on HPIsReading code and enhancing/fixing bugsIdentifying and delivering service improvements including automationExperience in release managementExperience of certificate managementMentoring and supporting junior colleaguesTechnical Skills + Cloud Application support+ Linux+ Messaging systems - Event streaming+ Database syntax+ Scripting languages+ CI/CD pipeline deploymentsPlease note due to the nature of this role you will be required to be eligible for SC clearance.
