Senior Backend Engineer - 1/2 days a month - Up to £100,000Burns Sheehan is currently partnered with a leading, London-based insurer who are going through a large tech transformation.They are now on the lookout for an experienced and hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain integrations between 3rd party and internal systems.Key responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing integration strategies aligned with organizational goals.Oversee and lead complex integration projects from conception to completion.Architect and design scalable and robust integration solutions, considering long-term system sustainability and flexibility.Mentor and guide junior integration engineers, providing technical expertise, best practices, and constructive feedback.Skills and experience: Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in integration engineering roles.Strong programming skills in languages such as Node.js and TypeScriptStrong knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and Terraform IaCExperience with API design, RESTful APIs, and other integration protocols.Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL processes is important for effectively moving and transforming data between different systems.Senior Backend Engineer - 1/2 days a month - Up to £100,000
