I'm currently working with an amazing client who is looking for a Senior Bid Writers with experience in railways and civils projects and is local to London.

Job Title: Senior Bid Writer

Location: London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum plus additional benefits

Bid Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive bid strategies, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation to ensure successful bid submissions.

Proposal Writing: Craft high-quality, compelling proposals that align with client requirements and highlight the organization’s strengths and capabilities.

Budget Management: Monitor bid budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for and remain within financial constraints.

Contract Review: Coordinate with legal and procurement teams to review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring compliance and favorable conditions for the organization.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the bid team, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring collaborative efforts meet tight deadlines.

Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing direction and guidance to achieve high-quality bid submissions.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues in the bid process and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and team members, ensuring all aspects of the bid are addressed.

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in bid writing best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements to produce top-tier proposals.

Planning and Organization: Strong project management skills to plan, prioritize, and manage resources efficiently to meet submission deadlines and budgetary constraints.

Qualifications Required:

• Experienced background working for major contractors on Civils or Rail Projects.
• Demonstrable experience working on major projects.
