A leading diagnostics provider is seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join their multidisciplinary laboratory team. This role offers the opportunity to perform specialist analytical testing, contribute to quality assurance, and support laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialist analytical testing on biological samples.
Perform data analysis and authorise results within professional scope.
Review and release results via the LIMS system.
Ensure timely processing of patient samples and maintain turnaround times.
Identify abnormal or unexpected results, reporting and following up with clinicians.
Troubleshoot issues with specimens and analytical equipment.
Manage and report on EQA schemes.
Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot specialist lab equipment.
Oversee stock control and ordering processes.
Handle telephone inquiries regarding test results and general lab matters.
Accurately record data, compile reports, and communicate findings.
