Role Overview:



As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will:




  • Lead the delivery of refurbishment, internal remodeling, repair works, extensions, and internal fit-out projects.

  • Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents, securing competitive costs from contractors.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, taking ownership and driving them to successful completion.

  • Conduct condition surveys, planned maintenance schedules, and defect analysis reports.

  • Advise on health and safety aspects, planning applications, property legislation, and building regulations.

  • Contribute to improving standard systems and procedures within the team, delivering projects with minimal supervision.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Deliver projects within agreed budgets, assessing fee proposals, and ensuring profitability.

  • Lead project meetings with clients and contractors.

  • Provide professional and efficient customer service, maintaining a business-like point of contact.

  • Mentor and advise junior colleagues, supporting the overall growth and development of the team.



What We're Looking For:




  • Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Building Surveying experience.

  • Problem-solving skills and a comprehensive knowledge of building construction and regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (ArchiCAD preferred).

  • Full UK Driving License.

  • Ability to manage complex workloads independently.
