Job Description
Global insurance software provider, with exciting delivery programme to burgeoning MGA market, seeks skilled Senior Business Analyst to join their talented team. Focus on #brokingplatform, #generalinsurance, and #specialty insurance
NB : This role is targeted at a Mid to Senior level Business Analyst - and offers tremendous scope to accelerate product, market and functional knowledge, whilst also offering leadership development opportunity.
Whom do we hope to attract?
A Business Analyst (graduate equivalent with circa 5 years minimum software delivery experience), of which min 2 years will be in the general or specialty insurance sector
You will have acquired experience working through the SDLC, to Agile principles, and within a client-facing area.
You will furthermore know what constitutes some of the challenges behind the digital transformation of the insurance broking sector, and have an interest in engaging with customers to produce a software platform that gives Brokers and MGAs the edge in managing the full lifecycle from risk placement, policy/ renewals management and claims
knowledge of or experience in general or specialty insurance software and the use of such software will be HIGHLY valued
familiarity in working with API led innovation is advantageous
Responsibilities
Build your knowledge of the software product to act as product evangelist, and the voice of the customer
Work cross-functionally to establish feature/ configuration requirements, collaborating with customers, technical team and project lead, to meet the objectives of the project delivery
Bring strong communication skills in documenting requirements and communicating complex ideas in unambiguous language to developers and both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
5+ years' of experience in business analysis within a consulting / vendor environment
Domain experience in commercial and speciality insurance is critical
Knowledge of the risk placement to claims management lifecycle in insurance broking
Product plus delivery side business analysis experience greatly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Scrum or Agile experience
