An opportunity has arisen for Senior Business Analysts with strong mathematical/data backgrounds to join a Global programme within the insurance markets. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive data science and engineering expertise in the insurance industry. We are looking for Analysts who are highly proficient in the art of collecting, defining, interpreting, managing and decomposing requirements into Themes, Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. Someone from a background supporting Data Engineers or being part of Data Engineering projects is wanted.This is a 12 month FTC that has the possibility to go to 18 months.We’re seeking a Analyst that is able to demonstrate skills/knowledge such as;Proven and demonstrable experience in data and software engineering teams.Significant technical understanding of business analysis frameworks, benefits management, business processes modelling, requirements analysis and functional decompositionConfidence in leading the discovery process and designing your analytical approach to suit the nature of the work and environmentEffective stakeholder management skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholdersA flair for reporting and an eye for detail and being at home with ambiguityKnowledge of advanced analytics, data engineering and insurance would be a bonusIntellectual curiosity, communication and presentation skillsThe successful candidate will earn up to £100,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: performance related discretionary bonus, 28 days core annual leave, and you can buy or sell up to 5 days. 18% pension, private medical cover, £1,000 pa personal fund and life assurance 10x annualised base salary!
