Company profile:
A leading force in the world of Electrical Solutions is currently expanding and is looking for a Senior Buyer to join them on their journey.
A global business, they offer a range of services, including the manufacturing of AC/DC Solutions, transformers, substation equipment and others. They’re also responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of HV electrical infrastructure within the UK Network, with over 200 HV projects, through their engineering services business.
This is an excellent chance for a Senior Buyer to progress their career for one of the largest independent electrical equipment manufactures in the world.
You will have responsibility for 2 Buyers and 3 Assistant buyers.
Responsibilities:
Manage cost effective inflow of services and materials using purchasing best practice principles.
Drive personal and business metrics/kpis.
Step in for the Procurement manager as needed.
Lead a team of Buyers and assistant buyers.
Drive improvement of supplier relationship and procurement frameworks.
Participate in supply chain projects.
What experience do you need?
Experience managing material resources.
Leadership experience.
Experience working with suppliers and handling negotiations.
What will you get in return?
Salary up to £47,000.
25 Days holiday.
7.5% employer pension contribution.
