Key Responsibilities as a Senior Buyer:

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
• Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
• Supply Chain Optimisation: Streamline supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of commercial terms.

Ideal Senior Buyer Profile:

• Proven experience as a Category Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Project Buyer within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
• In-depth understanding of commercial terms and contracts.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
