We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, while respecting the individual’s dignity and preferences.
* Support individuals with daily activities and promote independence wherever possible.
* Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to senior staff or relevant professionals.
* Assist in developing and implementing care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
* Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and external care providers.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the delivery of seamless care services.
* Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications and Skills

Education:
* BTEC National in Health and Social Care (HCC) or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field or equivalent.
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs, grade C or above, including English (or equivalent qualifications).

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
