Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join a luxury care home in Lancaster, providing high-quality care to residents.

Salary: £13.20ph (£16.50 overtime)

Position: Snr Care Assistant - Nights

Hours: Full Time - 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota

Setting: Luxury Care Home - Dementia/Elderly care

Location: Lancaster

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supervising a team of care assistants during the night shift.
• Administering medications as per care plans and policies.
• Monitoring residents' conditions and identifying any deterioration in health.
• Developing and reviewing care plans in accordance with resident needs.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Promoting person-centred care for all residents.
• Liaising with healthcare professionals regarding residents' care.
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Promoting safeguarding practices and protecting vulnerable adults.
• Supporting care assistants with their training and development.

For this role, we're looking for someone who has:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience of leading a care team, particularly in a night setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and risk assessments.
• A passion for person-centred care and supporting residents.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with healthcare professionals.
