Description

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for IT systems and services.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the IT department to understand and cater to their procurement needs.
• Ensure supply chain processes adhere to budget constraints.
• Monitor market trends to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
• Lead a team of procurement professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

A successful Senior Category Manager should have:

• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a procurement and supply chain management role, preferably within the transport & distribution industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract management.
• Excellent knowledge of IT procurement and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and other IT systems.
