Senior Chef De Partie

Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a British Restaurant/Pub establishment in the Matlock area who are looking to recruit a Senior Chef de Partie on a full time, permanent basis to join their team.

Hours: 45 hours a week, working on 4 days on 3 days off rota between the hours of 10:00am - 9:30pm.

\n

Salary: Up to £34,000

\n

My client is looking for a candidate who has previous experience working with fresh food and at a high volume as this establishment is based in the heart of one of Derbyshire's busiest towns.

What will you be doing in the Senior Chef de Partie role?

\n

\n
• General food preparation
\n
• Previous experience as a cook
\n
• Filling away deliveries
\n
• Washing utensils and dishes
\n
• Great communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Cook all food to excellent quality
\n
• Storing and sorting ingredients properly.
\n
• Passion for food
\n
• Ability to work under pressure
\n
• Own chef whites and chef knives
\n
• Ensuring food prep areas are clean in line with health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
\n

What will you bring to the Senior Chef de Partie role?

\n

\n
• Food hygiene level 2 (dated within the last three years)
\n
• Previous experience as a Chef De Partie/Senior Chef de Partie/ Sous Chef
\n
• Happy to clean any areas needed.
\n
• Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
\n
• Can use their own initiative and as work as part of a team
\n
• Able to communicate/report any issues to the relevant people effectively
\n
• Is hard-working, and reliable.
\n
