Our client, a major international practice of architects, designers, and engineers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer - Highways and Infrastructure to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative road projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Civil Design Engineer - Highways and Infrastructure:

• Lead the design and development of road infrastructure projects.
• Ensure all designs adhere to the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to inform design processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in road design and familiarity with DMRB standards.
• Proven track record in delivering complex civil engineering projects.
• Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• ICE or relevant Chartership beneficial though not essential.
• At least 5 years UK Design Consultancy experience is essential.
