Senior Civil Engineer - Water Engineering

Job Description What your new role will entail; Our successful Belfast Water team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to work across a number of frameworks with various clients in Belfast. As a Senior Engineer, you will be supported and encouraged to maintain your CPD and embrace initiatives to help you further develop your own skills and career. You will be responsible for the following; Producing feasibility studies, including financial and non-financial comparisons. Liaising and collaborating with process, mechanical environmental, planning, geotechnical, structural teams. ManagingNEC contracts and perform financial project management including regular invoicing, early warning and change controls. Engaging with energy and renewable teams to develop SUDs and renewable energy solutions for wastewater and water sites. Developing environmental improvement scheme designs and Greenway/ Cycleway improvements Detailed design of Highways drainage design, including SUDs features Compiling technical notes and reports. Managing junior staff and check work. Developing AutoCAD design package and check of AutoCAD work. Ensuring CDM compliance throughout design and construction. Being part of the team; You will be key to delivering schemes for DFI Roads and Northern Ireland Water. You will work alongside our project managers and lead design engineers for a variety of UK & Ireland clients, throughout the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of Highways infrastructure as well as water and wastewater utility projects to include carrying out feasibility studies, reference designs, detailed designs and preparation of reports and technical specifications. You will be part of a core team of around 10x Civil Engineers and a wider team of 30+ of Civil Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Highways Engineers, Modellers, Structural Engineers, Planners, Ecologists and CAD Technicians.
