The Role
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. We are well known locally for working on iconic projects in a variety of sectors such as data centers, conservation and heritage sites, education and healthcare schemes, housing regeneration and luxury developments.
The role will involve leading design delivery programmes ensuring that the project team are always in communication and schedules and resources are planned appropriately.
You will also be supporting and mentoring other engineers and technicians in the development of our design and project information
The Right Fit
You will have extensive experience designing SuDS and dealing with SAB Authorities as well as experience of leading and managing civil design projects. In particular developing delivery programmes, ensuring the project team are coordinated and schedules & resources are planned appropriately.
Your experience will include:
Leadership skills as a positive role model for the people around you
Concept and detailed design for Sustainable drainage systems
Comfortable leading design teams and liaising with Authorities
Good working knowledge of civil3d for drainage networks
You will be charted or actively working under a recognised professional Institution training pathway and approaching chartership. Above all the right fit will be guided by what is right when making decisions, who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes. Someone who is kind, conscientious and has pride in their work and the legacy our profession leaves for everyone.
