About You

I am seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join a Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate for this Senior Civil Engineer will have:

• Extensive UK design consultancy experience across a variety of sectors
• Strong client liaison skills and commercial awareness
• Knowledge of Section Agreements (278, 38, 185, 104)
• Proficiency with design software, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage, or similar
• A hands-on approach, actively engaging in design, project management, and delivery
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• A minimum of 6 years of industry experience and the ambition to take the next step in your career

Key responsibilities of this Senior Civil Engineering role include:

• Project Leadership: Manage and oversee the design and execution of civil engineering projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical guidance on civil engineering aspects
• Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs and calculations, utilising engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other industry-standard tools.
• Client Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and plans adhere to industry codes, regulations, and best practices, including Section Agreements such as 278, 38, 104, and more.
• Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance on technical and project management skills and supporting their career development.
