Job Description Position: Senior Civil Engineer (Contract Role)
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £22-£39/hr (Inside IR35)
Location: Dounreay Site
Travel & Subsistence: £75 per day for candidates traveling beyond commuting distance to the Dounreay site.
Overview:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for a leading Nuclear project at the Dounreay Site.
Job Purpose:
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Dounreay Low-Level Waste Disposal Facility within Site Services. The role involves managing and delivering the engineering requirements of the disposal facility in accordance with the Environmental Safety Case.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage technical engineering strategies, plans, and procedures.
Create and implement a delivery strategy for the engineering and safety case, adapting plans as necessary to accommodate changes.
Apply health, safety, environmental, and waste management processes to operational and engineering activities, consulting specialists when needed.
Validate the completion of tasks to ensure compliance with procedures, legislation, and quality standards.
Duration: 12 Months
