Role: Senior Civil Water Engineer
Salary/Rate: £ market rates (inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days p/w + site travel
Contract Duration: 6-12 months

A chartered Senior Civil Water Engineer is required by a consultancy working with some of the biggest government, infrastructure, defence, and security projects in the UK.

This Senior Civil Water Engineer role is hybrid based between working up to 3 days per week in a local office (multiple available throughout the UK) and the remainder of the week working remotely or travelling to UK sites as required. Site travel will be expensed.

The Senior Civil Water Engineer role will be a 6-12-month contract, paying market rates inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Chartered Civil Engineer qualification.
• Experience in design delivery, including coordination of multidisciplinary design projects.
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems.
• Familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
• Proficiency in using relevant digital analysis tools, adhering to both local and national guidelines, such as HADES, InfoWorks, and EPANET.
• Lead a team to execute technical design tasks in accordance with relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Develop project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Efficiently manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and schedules.
• Collaborate with teams both in the UK and internationally to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards throughout the design process.
