THE OPPORTUNITY This role has the following three primary components: Being the subject matter expert for Institutional Client AnalyticsIn partnership with client-allocated Relationship teams, deliver research and product expertise across the Investment Banking universeSupport the product development of the Client Analytics service line across Corporate and Investment Banking 1. Subject Matter Expert Develop knowledge to enable you to be a subject matter expert across the Global Markets landscapeAnalyse and interpret data to present key messages to senior clients – focus on ensuring maximum impact of messaging and actionabilityContribute to Coalition Greenwich’s understanding of the ongoing evolution of Institutional activity 2. Project Management and Delivery With the Relationship Management teams, deliver the Institutional Client Analytics in line with the annual delivery schedules, attending delivery meetings in person or via VC/callPrepare projects and analytics ready to present to clients in line with contractual remit and timeframesWork closely with the Analytics center in Mumbai on execution of project and deliveries 3. Business and IP Development for Client Analytics As part of the global Research team, contribute to the further design and definition of components of Analytics product offering (features, metrics etc.) to meet client needsAlongside the Relationship Management and Business Development team, market IP and Analytics to identified client organisations and participate in pitches to and presentations to current/prospective clientsContribute to the development of the IP and Analytics REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSStrong product expertise - Strong knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking markets: trends, Financial Services sector, specific competitors and their strengths; Preferred backgrounds where relevant experience is likely to have been gained (in order of preference): Product or Sales Management within banksBanks’ Client Management teamsBanks’ Client Strategy teamsBusiness Management function within banksFS practice of a Consulting firm Strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude, and an ability to work with significant amounts of data, both numerical and qualitative. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills allowing immediate individual impact within client; the ability to build rapport easily and to converse confidently and articulately. Fluency in spoken English is essential; Excellent qualitative skills and the ability to prepare well edited, well presented reports and market commentary. Excellent project Management - A proven ability to work autonomously; Strong track record of successfully delivered projects. A strong degree of independence, drive and self-motivation. A proven ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of planning own workload Demonstration of a genuine interest and passion in the Financial Services sector coupled with the willingness and drive to develop your knowledge and understanding of the sector Candidates must have high intellect demonstrated by a strong academic background – this will typically be demonstrated by a strong undergraduate degree and ideally a post-graduate qualification from a premier business school; in the absence of this, demonstration of compelling alternative qualification or experience.
