Senior Commercial Asset Analyst

SummaryAn international solar developer, owner and operator are seeking a Senior Commercial Asset Analyst to assist in managing their UK solar portfolio. The company are constructing 300MW+ in Solar PV / BESS this year, a portfolio which will require management once constructed, and you will help lead on the management of these assets. You will be a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape to lead our client’s asset portfolio to success. This is a hybrid role with travel to London twice a week.ResponsibilitiesAs Senior Commercial Asset Analyst, you will manage the commercial aspects of the company’s UK Solar portfolio. You will ensure the commercial success of the solar portfolio including managing the solar and BESS assets and maintaining stakeholder relationships.You will aim to maximise asset returns via efficiency analysis and compliance monitoring.You’ll also be responsible for analysing financial data, supporting company growth initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes managing insurance claims and resolving legal issues.Other responsibilities include maintaining safety standards during solar/ BESS asset construction, as well as the efficient management of operational budgets.Requirements3+ years' experience in Commercial Asset Management or Technical Asset Management essentialRenewables experience in Solar PV and/or BESS essentialFinancial knowledge of Solar PV/ BESS and other renewable energy projects preferredFamiliarity with the UK electricity market and grid regulation is desirable.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
