Our client is a leading Global Quantitative Hedge Fund trading across all asset classes globally looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to work in a European-focussed controls testing role with the opportunity for a global remit.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform compliance controls on European business lines identifying gaps in processes and procedures
· Conducting analysis of systems, data and compliance processes across the firm
· Ensuring the application of robust controls across the organisation
· Provide regulatory advice to employees at all levels with regards to the rules, regulations and internal policies
· Ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures in European offices.
· Escalating findings to management where required
· Ad hoc project work, as required.
Ideal Background:
· Ideally having experience of working within hedge fund, investment manager, investment bank or similar firm.
