Role/ Department: The Oversight and Payments Scheme function is responsible for end-to-end compliance management and control oversight across multiple regions where Northern Trust are direct participants The key responsibilities of the role include: Regulatory & Payment Scheme Change Management for different regions with the ability to interpret Payment Scheme rules and regulations Responsible to attestation management & oversight for different regions Adherence to risk & control policies with the ability to represent best practice in governance forums Responsible for serving as the Lead on large complex projects/Initiatives with a focus on strategic direction of business function activities Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity Build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders including Control, Resiliency Office, Regulatory Oversight, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Audit Skills/ Qualifications: The successful candidate will benefit from having: Ability to understand different regions Regulatory Reporting Framework Management providing support and coordinating with different operations team Knowledge of Cash & Payment regulations, regulatory transaction reporting and industry best practices will be desirable Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise Operations/audit/control/risk partner with knowledge of the relevant business practice including its strategic goals, associated products and supporting operational functions. Knowledge of risk management techniques and proven ability to identify and assess risk in business processes, migration activity and new products. Negotiation and analytical skills are necessary to consult with partners/clients throughout the organization as well as regulators and auditors.
